3 things I hated in may

Frist I did not win the first price simply because the organiser do not appreciate better handicapp players like me. Anyone playing system 36 tournament will simply laugh at them. Between 2 person playing 37 points , would you give the honours to the one playing handicapp 18 for the day or would you rate the one playing 14 is the winner....nahhhh

Second , I did not realise I have lost a fren . Furthermore a golfing fren. He was our family doctor and I was simply amazed why did I miss that announcement during the miri masters.

Third , urrgghhhh .... forgotten about it lah ...will tell you if I remember about it again later..
I did not know a fren quit his job, simply because I did not checked his blog for a couple of days , errrr a week actually. Then after knowing it , suddenly realised I dont have his number. My phone bought in 2000 fails to survive heart attack and I have to use my wife hp...Lucky enuf have the number of another fren who within seconds sms the number.

Last nite cooked mee hoon sup for dinner. We were tempted to go out but since the city is full of crowd and heavy traffic, decided to cook and eat at home. Did my usual golf in the morning and then cleaning the house and the usual rearrangment .

this weekend....aiyo , so lazy mah...and Miri , congratulations.

Mee hoon sup


It got to be one of the best dishes during lunch time. Today we decided to buy our favourite mee hoon sup from Restoren Fajar , Lutong Baru. Its only about 2 minutes drive from the office. And another 5 minutes drive I will be at home enjoying that plate.
The plate is actually a combo of two serving. Aha !!! me with my big stomach. Not really . It simply because I do enjoy eating that dish. It is simple , yet got to be one of the best dish for the day. Even Hanie enjoy eating it too , well without the soup though.
So if you happen to be in miri, try it ... its lovely...

Gulai Ketam



I can't remember the last time cooking Gulai Ketam. Since the day 'E' mentioned it , just could not resist buying it and cook it over the weekend. And there you are at Lutong market , bought a kg and cook it for a late lunch, almost dinner actually.

My other half is still munching and closing in to last piece of it and loving every second of it. Who says husband can't win wife heart over own cooked lunch or dinner.

Peransang Templer - Serendah & Gulai Ketam

First of all , there is no resemblance of the three. But the three have some overwhelming meaning to friendship over the weekend. Have not seen a fren for a long time. I have some doubts whether I have still memories or even something to remember the last time we ever spoke to each other.

A fren pick me up at KL sentral for a game of golf with the rest of the hippy group somewhere in Rawang. Met another fren with his partner ( really ??? ) over late breakfast / lunch and sort of sped of to the golf course at 12.30 . We did catch up with some old times and recent developments in our own personal life. Another fren rang up checking at what time we will reach the destination. "Probably in ten minutes time, we should be there"...

As we close in Bandar Rawang , the road traffic seems to catch our attention. As if we never had to face such pack of cars heading to the golf course before. That does not stop us from chatting and continue with our so called biography read out.

Suddenly we realised that we are heading towards the wrong direction. Instead of going to Peransang Templer , we are now talking our drive strainght to serendah. Without hesitation the fren swerve the car around and head back to the golf course. The game itself is no interesting as the trip to the golf course. Unfortunately we did not managed to play in the same flight . But thinking about it if we did , we could be hitting the balls to the other direction.

I know for the fact that someone missed the "gulai Ketam". Upon asking about the recipe , I did not reealised that. For a fren , somewhere in damansara , whom we all know his character and background , here it is , a recipe for you to try and enjoy and dont forget , there will always be your true fren at the end of the tunnel...

The Ketam Gulai:

Ingredients
Some ketam
Spanish onions
Bawang merah kecik
garlic
ginger
rempah kari ikan
santan
daun kari

ehhh penat lah wa. besok malam wa sambung......

bawang , halia , bwg putih , blend them all
fry these dalam kuali with some minyak
masuk kan chili boh sesudu
lepas tu masuk kan rempah kari sesudu kecik mixed dgn air 2 sudu besor
letak daun pandan sehelai
tambah hirisan tomato fresh dua tiga biji
satu sudu gula and garam
masukkan daun kari sikit

mixed them well and let the pedas naik

mashuk itu ketam lah...
then masukkan mixture of water and santan ( santan cair )

try ler mana tahu sedap ke tidak............
